Thanks to the work of board member Nathan Rau, Microsoft’s Employee Corporate Giving program now recognizes the Capt. Jason Dahl Scholarship Fund as a 501(c)3 non-profit organization eligible for corporate matching.  Any of the over 100,000 Microsoft employees can now donate time or money (in the form of 1:1 matching) to the Fund.

Microsoft enjoys a robust history with flying, dating back to the original, “Flight Simulator” in the early 1980s and even now has a vibrant community of recreational pilots and enthusiasts.  “It is our hope that this recognition of the Fund will encourage other corporations to come forward both directly and through their employees,” said Nathan.

Corporations interested in setting up similar employee matching programs should contact any member of the Dahl Fund Board of Directors.
